The Ray collection is a timeless elegant addition to the Diphano collection. Starting as 2 dining chairs it eventually grew to contain 8 different models in a variety of materials, finishes and colors. Ray mixes warm teak, cool aluminum, soft ropes, and hard ceramic in a conflict free way that can fit in any outdoor setting.
The difference is in the details
The project started as an effort to fill a gap in the Diphano collection. They were looking for an elegant aluminum chair with something a little extra to set it aside from the competition.
Thoughtful design for a great user experience
We had a list of criteria and goals including that it should be stackable, durable, easy to manufacture, highlight the weaving expertise of the manufacturer, and easy to combine with the rest of their collections.
